How I became a Paralegal
About Didi Donovan
A deep-seated passion for Court TV shows ignited my journey into the legal field. This fervor led me to a role as a Court Clerk in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1998, despite having no prior experience except for the legal terminology I had absorbed from these shows. My fascination with the complexities of the law drove me to pursue an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, a Professional Forensic Program diploma, and a BS in Criminal Justice, a testament to my genuine interest and dedication to the legal field.
Currently based in the Virgin Islands, I have demonstrated my adaptability by diversifying my expertise in various legal areas, including family law, land matters, and banking. I also handle the preparation of protection orders. Additionally, I serve as a Commissioner for Oaths in the territory, demonstrating my readiness to take on new challenges and my commitment to the legal field.
